With the objective of encouraging women entrepreneurs and giving impetus to their business journey, Sahayog Multistate Credit Co.Op Society Ltd. has implemented a strategic policy – The Sahayog woman entrepreneur Empowerment scheme. Under the visionary scheme, Sahayog provides microfinance to women entrepreneurs from marginalized sections of society–backward classes. Designed considering women’s empowerment, targeted women beneficiaries are identified and given loans directly or through Self-Help Groups.
Objective:
To encourage Women Entrepreneurs to start new projects or expand/modernise the existing unit.
To empower and encourage women for income generation for activities either in manufacturing/ service/ trading/ small
Target Profile:
New as well as Existing Women entrepreneurs for her Micro/ Small enterprise, i.e. engaged in manufacturing and service.
Eligibility Criteria:
Women entrepreneurs who have initiated existing and new MSMEs, Tiny Units or SSIs.
The financial holding of women entrepreneurs should be 100% engaged in manufacturing and production purposes.
Not a defaulter to any Bank / Financial Institution.
Existing or new MSMEs engaged only in services, trading and manufacturing sectors.
MSMEs or tiny enterprises with a minimum investment of at least 20 % of the Project Cost
